Buildpro is seeking a Territory Operations Manager for our Tampa, FL. Territory! This is a fast-paced leadership position overseeing all day to day operations and overseeing multiple installation crews. The Territory Manager is ultimately responsible for organizing, motivating, and leading the roofing team as well as ensuring the safety, quality, and efficiency of the crew, and ultimately the customer experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer satisfaction above all else!
  • Confirm that staff is aware of their daily duties and assignments
  • Monitor and oversee the daily production of the office and its employees
  • Manage employee and subcontractor schedules and time reporting
  • Schedule projects and service work
  • Maintain and enforce safety and training program
  • Acquire necessary project materials, tools, and equipment
  • Inspect job sites of each installation for quality and accuracy
  • Resolve project, customer, and staff escalations
  • Review project packets for completeness and accuracy
  • Oversee inspections and commissioning
  • Update appropriate statuses in project management software
  • Communicate and coordinate with territory sales manager on a regular basis
  • Oversees P&L for territory

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must be a motivated team player, looking to succeed
  • 5+ years of construction and/or roofing management experience
  • Residential roofing and/or construction experience 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects; installation, operations, and troubleshooting

Sunpro Solar is looking to hire Solar Designer for our Tampa, FL. territory! The Solar Designer works diligently to create custom solar panel designs that best fit the customer’s unique needs

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assess and confirm system design, including: array layout, wire runs and interconnection method.
  • Identify and resolve design issues with the salesman and submit drawings for their customer’s review and approval.
  • Track and manage numerous projects and communicate milestones to appropriate parties.
  • Coordinating with multiple jurisdictions to meet their requirements
  • Provide final review of system designs to ensure a high level of accuracy and completion
  • Maintain and update CAD standards
  • Research building codes and plan implementation of new system design requirements (NEC, Building Code, Fire Code, Greenbook, etc.)

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Basic 2D AutoCAD skills
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in AutoCAD, Visio, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Capability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with attention to detail
  • Have previous solar experience highly preferred, but not required
  • Know how to research National Electrical Code. Previous knowledge preferred but not required
  • Have experience working with Outlook and SalesForce, but not required

Solar Installer | Tampa, FL

Solar Installer

Sunpro Solar is seeking a Solar Installer for our Tampa, FL. location. The Solar Installer will be responsible for working as a contributing member of the solar installation crew and assisting the mechanical portions of residential solar installation. This position assists, organizes, and performs the safety equipment placement, array layout, racking installation, and module placement. The solar installer will work as part of and lead a team, to safely and successfully complete residential rooftop solar installations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Layout, assembly and installation of solar array and mounting hardware
  • Assist with electrical wiring of energy products
  • Prepare and clean up job site
  • Provide exceptional customer service to every customer throughout the installation process
  • Additional duties may be required as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 1+ year of roof work experience required.
  • Rooftop Solar experience and/or Lead experience a plus.
  • General construction/framing experience is a plus.
  • Electrical experience is a plus.
  • 1 year of working at heights including on rooftops, climbing ladders and stairs, and performing repetitious duties such as lifting, bending and standing for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 100 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday
  • Ability to work in harsh environments such as, extreme hot and cold, crawl spaces, roofs, extreme heights.
  • Ability to safely handle and maintain basic hand and power tools used for installation.
  • Ability to work well others in a collaborative team environment

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Repair roof associated with said Solar Panels and Solar System
  • Repair any sheetrock damage caused during Wire Connections 
  • Perform Quality Control inspections
  • Report field findings to management in a timely manner

Sunpro Solar is seeking several Project Coordinator Assistants for our Tampa, FL location who have experience with Dispatching or Permits

The Project Coordinator Assistant will create an exceptional customer experience while supporting specific facets of the solar project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while functioning as the primary customer advocate.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work and communicate with all company personnel, including: Management, Sales, Accounting, Field and Office staff.
  • Maintain relationships with utility companies, REP’s, municipalities, and HOA’s.
  • Ability to prepare and submit all documents required for permits, utilities, and HOA approvals.
  • Fill out/file rebate applications.
  • Organize and schedule installations, inspections, etc.
  • Review contracts for accuracy.
  • Maintain customer job packets.
  • Update project management database with appropriate status.
  • Manage any exceptions to the process.
  • Ensure timely achievement of permission to operate.
  • Create PV watts report and other necessary reports as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

It is not required that you’ve worked in the solar industry; however, experience in a construction or engineering company is a plus!

  • 4-year Bachelor’s Degree or work experience in project coordination (preferred).
  • Must be confident and comfortable with heavy phone interaction with customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Solar Energy or Construction Project Management (preferred)
  • Must be proficient in MS Office (MS Word, Excel) and CRM software. Salesforce experience is a plus.

Buildpro (Roofing Division) Field Supervisor:

 

Compensation & Benefits:

Qualifications:

• Previous experience/knowledge in the Roofing, Siding, and/or Gutter industry a PLUS, but not required

• Prior Project Management experience a PLUS, but not required

• Previous experience negotiating and contracting with crews and pay

• Ability to work with multiple groups to schedule work and trades accordingly

• Detail orientated, and organization is a necessity

• Must have or obtain a smartphone capable of downloading apps and taking pictures

• Ability to lift 50lbs or more

 

Duties:

• Act as the liaison between Buildpro and Subcontracted Crews

• Directly facilitate sourcing, interviewing, and hiring of Production Crews

• Work with local office Production Crews to assign and schedule jobs to be completed

• Work with local townships and municipalities around building permits

• Work with Regional and District members of the Buildpro Opps Team to meet build dates

• Perform Services as needed

• Pick up leftover materials on job sites as needed

 

Hours/Schedule:

• Monday-Friday 7:30-4:30 as possible; varied hours/Saturdays; Sundays as needed

• Employee is considered on-call for off-hours in emergencies.
