Sunpro Solar is looking to hire Solar Designer for our Little Rock, AR territory! The Solar Designer works diligently to create custom solar panel designs that best fit the customer’s unique needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assess and confirm system design, including: array layout, wire runs and interconnection method.
  • Identify and resolve design issues with the salesman and submit drawings for their customer’s review and approval.
  • Track and manage numerous projects and communicate milestones to appropriate parties.
  • Coordinating with multiple jurisdictions to meet their requirements
  • Provide final review of system designs to ensure a high level of accuracy and completion
  • Maintain and update CAD standards
  • Research building codes and plan implementation of new system design requirements (NEC, Building Code, Fire Code, Greenbook, etc.)

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Basic 2D AutoCAD skills
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in AutoCAD, Visio, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Capability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with attention to detail
  • Have previous solar experience highly preferred, but not required
  • Know how to research National Electrical Code. Previous knowledge preferred but not required
  • Have experience working with Outlook and SalesForce, but not required

Solar Installer | Little Rock, AR

Sunpro Solar is seeking a Solar Installer for our Little Rock, AR territory. The Solar Installer will be responsible for working as a contributing member of the solar installation crew and assisting the mechanical portions of residential solar installation. This position assists, organizes, and performs the safety equipment placement, array layout, racking installation, and module placement. The solar installer will work as part of a team to safely and successfully complete residential solar installations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Layout, assembly and installation of solar array and mounting hardware
  • Assist with electrical wiring of energy products
  • Prepare and clean up job site
  • Provide exceptional customer service to every customer throughout the installation process
  • Additional duties may be required as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 1+ years of roof work experience required
  • General construction/framing experience required
  • Electrical experience is a plus
  • 1 year of working at heights including on rooftops, climbing ladders and stairs, and performing repetitious duties such as lifting, bending and standing for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 100 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday
  • Ability to work in harsh environments such as, extreme hot and cold, crawl spaces, roofs, extreme heights.
  • Ability to safely handle and maintain basic hand and power tools used for installation
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
  • Ability to work well others in a collaborative team environment
  • Must be able to handle 40-hour work week with overtime.
  • Confidentially climb up 40’ ladder.
  • Navigate roofs up to 12:12 pitch

Project Scheduler (Dispatcher) | Little Rock, AR

Sunpro Solar is seeking a Project Scheduler / Dispatcher for our Little Rock, AR. territory who has experience with Dispatching

The Dispatcher will create an exceptional customer experience while supporting specific facets of the solar project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while functioning as the primary customer advocate.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work and communicate with all company personnel, including: Management, Sales, Accounting, Field and Office staff.
  • Ability to prepare and submit all documents required for permits.
  • Organize and schedule installations, inspections, etc.
  • Update project management database with appropriate status.
  • Manage any exceptions to the process.
  • Ensure timely achievement of permission to operate.

It is not required that you’ve worked in the solar industry; however, experience in a construction or engineering company is a plus!

  • 4-year Bachelor’s Degree or work experience in dispatching or project scheduling.
  • Must be confident and comfortable with heavy phone interaction with customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Must be proficient in MS Office (MS Word, Excel) and CRM software. Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Lead Setter | Little Rock, AR

Lead Setter:

As a Lead Setter at Sunpro Solar, you will be going to homeowners door to door style.  Your job will be to inform each homeowner of the benefits of Solar and invite them to meet with a specialist to further explain the process and advantages of going solar.  No selling involved, you will simply schedule an appointment for the homeowner to meet with one of our specialists.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Serves as the first point of contact and community brand ambassador in the Sunpro Solar Sales Experience
  • Greets, presents, and incentivize potential clients to the benefits of Solar and invite them to meet with a specialist to explain the benefits of going solar.
  • Must be welcoming and provide a professional first impression of our company while pre-qualifying potential customers
  • Maintains an accurate record of all transactions and customer logs
  • Responsible for maintaining production at or above minimum performance standards
  • All interactions are in person and do not include telemarketing
  • No selling, just scheduling the appointment for the homeowner to meet with the specialist.

Journeyman Electrician | Little Rock, AR

Sunpro is seeking a Licensed Journeyman for our Little Rock, AR territory. The Sunpro electrician is responsible for installing residential and light commercial photovoltaic (PV) systems. The Sunpro electrician provides excellent service and ensuring a positive customer experience. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Install electrical service equipment, wiring, and devices required for the installation of residential and light commercial solar PV systems.
  • Install projects as contracted and designed.
  • Obtain all required materials to complete assigned project, including renting special construction equipment.
  • Proper installation of required materials.
  • All electrical work meets or exceeds current National Electrical Code as well as local jurisdiction requirements.
  • All projects are completed in a workman-like manner.
  • Review project packets for completeness and accuracy.
  • Ensure a quality installation experience for the customer.
  • Troubleshoot PV systems and resolve electrical issues.
  • Oversee and effectively communicate with local inspectors.
  • Ensure all projects pass jurisdiction requirements.
  • Communicate and coordinate with Territory Manager and  Project Coordinators.
  • Maintain and enforce safety and training programs.
  • Work independently with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reports directly to the Territory Manager.
  • Create a positive work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:
