Territory Operations Manager

Sunpro is seeking a Territory Operations Manager! This is a fast-paced leadership position overseeing all day to day operations and overseeing multiple installation crews. The Project Manager is ultimately responsible for organizing, motivating, and leading the installation team and ensuring the crew’s safety, quality, and efficiency, and ultimately the customer experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer satisfaction, above all else!
  • Confirm that staff is aware of their daily duties and assignments
  • Monitor and oversee the daily production of the office and its employees
  • Manage employee and subcontractor schedules and time reporting
  • Schedule projects and service work
  • Maintain and enforce safety and training program
  • Acquire necessary project materials, tools, and equipment
  • Inspect job sites of each installation for quality and accuracy
  • Resolve project, customer, and staff escalations
  • Review project packets for completeness and accuracy
  • Oversee inspections and commissioning
  • Update appropriate statuses in project management software
  • Communicate and coordinate with territory sales manager regularly
  • Oversees P&L for territory

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must be a motivated team player, looking to succeed
  • 5+ years of construction management experience
  • Must have electrical experience/knowledge
  • Residential construction experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects; installation, operations, and troubleshooting
  • Excellent people skills, able to manage, motivate and discipline if necessary
  • Professional demeanor when customer-facing
  • Experience with MS Excel, MS Word, and project management tools (MS Project) preferred
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
  • Ability to manage a $1-10M P&L
  • Strong work ethic and grit
  • Entrepreneurial attitude

Solar Installer | Lubbock, TX

Solar Installer

Sunpro Solar is seeking a Solar Installer for our Lubbock, Tx. location. The Solar Installer will be responsible for working as a contributing member of the solar installation crew and assisting the mechanical portions of residential solar installation. This position assists, organizes, and performs the safety equipment placement, array layout, racking installation, and module placement. The solar installer will work as part of a team to safely and successfully complete residential solar installations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Layout, assembly and installation of solar array and mounting hardware
  • Assist with electrical wiring of energy products
  • Prepare and clean up job site
  • Provide exceptional customer service to every customer throughout the installation process
  • Additional duties may be required as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

  • General construction/framing experience is a plus
  • Electrical experience is a plus
  • Ability to lift 100 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday
  • Ability to work in harsh environments such as, extreme hot and cold, crawl spaces, roofs, extreme heights.
  • Ability to safely handle and maintain basic hand and power tools used for installation
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
  • Ability to work well others in a collaborative team environment
  • Must be able to handle 40-hour work week with overtime.

Energy Efficiency Specialist | Lubbock, TX

Energy Efficiency Specialist (Home Energy Auditor)

Sunpro Solar is Seeking an Energypro Specialist for our Lubbock, TX, and surrounding areas!        

The Energy Specialist will be responsible for educating homeowners in energy efficiency practices. The Specialist will analyze the homeowner’s energy efficiency, promote and encourage the adoption of sound energy efficiency recommendations, and install instant savings measures such as LED light bulbs and water heater wraps.

As a representative of the company, the candidate must present a clean, professional image and clearly communicate with supervisors, homeowners, and inspectors. It is required that the candidate has a thorough understanding of home construction, accurately identify framing members, and photograph and create written documentation of site conditions and these requirements. The position will handle site visits, inspections, service calls, technical troubleshooting, and project closeout.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work independently to conduct energy audits – This includes traveling to the customer site location, interacting with the customer, performing a comprehensive assessment/audit of the residence, recommending energy-saving measures, conducting energy usage data calculations, and completing corresponding documentation.
  • The individual will also maintain an accurate supply inventory weekly.
  • Perform energy audits and record findings (e.g., blower door, insulation level, thermostat type) and download/upload the required forms and worksheets.
  • Where appropriate, advise customers of simple low- and no-cost energy conservation measures, such as sealing air leaks and changing furnace filters.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • At least 1 year of Energy Auditing experience is preferred.
  • BPI Analyst Certification is preferred, HVAC Certificate, HERS Rater holders welcome.
  • Weatherization technicians welcome
  • A self-starter with the ability to keep on task independently and complete reports in a timely matter.
  • An excellent communicator that is capable of explaining building science details both orally and in written format.
  • Solid foundation in utilizing Microsoft Office products, with a particular focus on Word and Excel.
  • A basic understanding of residential home construction.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Must be able to lift to 40lbs and climbing on ladders.
