As a Lead Setter at Sunpro Solar, you will be going to homeowners door to door style.  Your job will be to inform each homeowner of the benefits of Solar and invite them to meet with a specialist to further explain the process and advantages of going solar.  No selling involved, you will simply schedule an appointment for the homeowner to meet with one of our specialists.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Serves as the first point of contact and community brand ambassador in the Sunpro Solar Sales Experience
  • Greets, presents, and incentivize potential clients to the benefits of Solar and invite them to meet with a specialist to explain the benefits of going solar.
  • Must be welcoming and provide a professional first impression of our company while pre-qualifying potential customers
  • Maintains an accurate record of all transactions and customer logs
  • Responsible for maintaining production at or above minimum performance standards
  • All interactions are in person and do not include telemarketing
  • No selling, just scheduling the appointment for the homeowner to meet with the specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create strategies to increase sales growth and profitability through the development of new markets and the growth of existing markets.
  • Review monthly, quarterly and annual sales with sales reps to ensure success.
  • Create and manage data in is support of business decisions.
  • Accumulate ‘field intelligence’ on competitive activity and market pricing.
  • Lead effective sales blitzes in established and new territories.
  • Mentor and coach regional teams on sales techniques.
  • Budget management.
  • Conduct regular meetings with project managers and field workers; perform site visits.
  • Determine training needs for roofing crews; organize with safety manager quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Review and analyze budget reports and prepare and develop budget modifications and recommendations.
  • Willing to learn and teach best practices for roofing sales and installation by fully participating in on-the-job training.
  • Knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations

 

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience, master’s preferred
  • 10-15 years’ experience in sales, operations and/or project management; with a national and/or regional commercial or residential roofing company
  • Proven experience growing sales and sales teams
  • Knowledge of various commercial and residential roofing systems
  • Knowledge to inspect and ensure attention to detail and quality
  • Able to understand complex problems and make decisions in a timely manner
  • Navigate software programs and accurately enter data into our company specific CRM Tools, Salesforce and ADP.
  • Proficient in MS office, typing and computer navigation skills
  • Excellent listening and negotiation skills
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge
  • Stable work history

Journeyman Electrician | Corporate, Louisiana

Sunpro is seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician for our travel crew. The travel crew will work at various locations 2-4 weeks at a time.  The Sunpro electrician is responsible for installing residential and light commercial photovoltaic (PV) systems. The Sunpro electrician is dedicated to providing excellent service and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer satisfaction above all else.
  • This position does require overnight travel 2-4 weeks at at time.
  • Expert knowledge of Power Walls is required.
  • Install electrical service equipment, wiring, and devices required for the installation of residential and light commercial solar PV systems.
  • Install projects as contracted and designed.
  • Obtain all required materials to complete assigned project, including renting special construction equipment.
  • Proper installation of required materials.
  • All electrical work meets or exceeds current National Electrical Code as well as local jurisdiction requirements.
  • All projects are completed in a workman-like manner.
  • Resolve project, customer, and staff escalations.
  • Review project packets for completeness and accuracy.
  • Ensure a quality installation experience for the customer.
  • Troubleshoot PV systems and resolve electrical issues.
  • Oversee and effectively communicate with local inspectors.
  • Ensure all projects pass jurisdiction requirements.
  • Communicate and coordinate with territory Project Manager and Coordinator.
  • Maintain and enforce safety and training programs.
  • Work independently with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reports directly to the Project Manager.
  • Create a positive work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must have an active Journeyman Electrician license.
  • Must be a motivated team player, looking to succeed.
  • 1+ years of experience as a Residential Electrician.
  • Solar experience is a plus.
  • Ability to calculate total load amperage ratings, wattages, KW & KVA sizes.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the project.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill
  • Professional appearance and demeanor, with excellent communication skills.
  • Must be a motivated team player, looking to succeed.
  • Strong work ethic and grit.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Must submit and pass a background check and drug test.
